Classic game of hearts
Each heart won in a trick scores 1 penalty point against the player winning the trick, and the player winning a trick containing the queen of spades scores 13 penalty points. Therefore, there are 26 penalty points in each deal. The game ends when one player reaches 100 points. Player with the fewest penalty points wins.
Take Em All
If one player takes all the penalty cards on one deal, 26 penalty points can be added to each of the other three players scores. Attempting to take em all is a risky strategy, failure to capture even one of the penalty cards will result in the remaining penalty points (as many as 25) being added to ones score.

Honestly, paying 4.99 for a game of hearts is crazy! This one is free and does exactly what you need. Only suggestions would be saving the game when you leave but, even the one on windows doesnt do that so... Its pretty much perfect!
This game is great. It is fast and easy to play. Excellent game.
The only complaint is that they put the red suits together and the black suits together which makes it difficult to see the suits. It should show the cards in your hand as red/black/red/black for easy separation and viewing … especially since the cards need to be so tiny to show them all.
Having the iPhone vibrate or make a sound when you make control, or when hearts are broken or the Queen is played would be a nice to have – but not necessary. Another reviewer said not to show the point cards but in real games these must be put face up so it is an important feature.
Overall a good game, i use it lots. very basic. could really use autosave or something; every time you quit you start over but thats my only complaint
Any way to make the AI a little smarter? Im constantly finding myself at 5 or 10 pts while the computers are at like 50 or 75.
Also, an autosave would be great. I hate having to start the game over if I reply to a text or for any other reason have to exit the game.
I have played it over 20 times and it works great! No fancy bells or whistles, just Hearts! If you enjoy the game its a must have! No "WOW" graphics, just solid gameplay.
It would be nice if there was a setting for difficulty, its fun though and I like how its just plain hearts, nothing fancy
Some bad moments
You lead an Ace of spades and the ai wont always play the Qs after it
Ill give it two stars because its free but it has head scratchingly poor AI. The two biggest AI flaws are 1) When you lead a high card the computer players will most often play the lowest cards in their hand as opposed to bettering their hands by playing the next highest card 2) Very poor handling of the queen of spades.
Theres definitely a lot of potential in this app and its great for a beginner but for any experienced player there isnt much challenge until the AI is improved.
I would like to see a few things added in here
1 intelligent computers
2 faster computer play (difficult to make things smarter and faster I know)
3 a better passing and suit layout
It would be nice to have the option of being able to continue a game, instead of having to start a new one. It would be nice to finish a game.
It also needs a level option. I find that it gets a little too easy.
Ive won all 19 games Ive played. Im starting to lose interest. Im good but not that good. Give us harder levels. The opponents are poor players.
This may have been the least challenging card game Ive played in my entire life. The computer players are absolutely useless, with no strategy whatsoever. There should be difficulty levels and a way to actually save scores. It has potential, but for now its boring and useless.
