This app quits randomly in the middle of a game on my iPhone 5. Dont waste your time.
Since the latest 8.02 upgrade iHearts opens then crashes. Hopefully they will fix it but Id hold off downloading until they do.
I couldnt believe that my opponent played the Queen of Spades to win a trick after someone else had already taken a heart, and on the next trick, led a low spade. Not even my kids play that badly. I like to win, but hey, its only fun to win against competant players. Thumbs down for that reason only.
Good for 8 to 12 year olds. Very tactical programing.
Plays very poorly. Bare minimum user interface. Doesnt persist gamestate (starts over every time you start it). Worth exactly what I paid for it: nothing.
The AI is aweful!
All the computers do is play random cards. Its like they are not even trying. Very easy game when that happends.
I really like this hearts game. I just wish it would save my game so I could come back to the game after a phone call.
The only challange is to see if you can win the game with a zero score. Also very slow.
Nice graphics but play is too slow, it keeps saying Alice is thinking. Will not readjust to sideways on Iphone. I am an avid Hearts player and chose another game for my iPhone 3GS
Most of the other reviews are spot-on. What I dont like is the inability to save a game. Really nullifies an otherwise okay game. Of course, the price is right.
The graphics implementation is quite good. The playing strategy for the computer players is quite poor.
Putting all the black cards and red cards together (rather than black-red-black-red) makes it very hard, esp since cards are closely spaced on screen.
There have been no updates since this came out. And you cant save a game in progress unless you turn off your phone.
Moron players. No challenge at all!
I have only one problem with the game and that is that any time you have to leave the game, for instance, to answer the phone, you have to start over again. Also, and I might be wrong on this, I thought you were not allowed to play the queen of spades on the first play. Ive done it several times so was wondering if I had the rules wrong.
I downloaded this and the other free hearts game. I only played 2 hands on this one, but the graphics, layout, settings and functionality are a lot better on the other one. One thing I did like about this one is that it shows you the hand and game scores in real time. That way you dont have to keep track in your head whether a run has been broken. I gave this 3 stars because it is free and programming the logic for this game cant be easy.
The grouping of the cards would be better if it would seperate all the red from all the black cards. It would also be a plus to allow the screen to be turned horizontally for a wider view.
However, they should add different challenge levels. The interface is easy and nice to view. It is similar to the Hearts game found on all PCs. Where did the programmers go?
